Michael Johns has two decades of experience in executive management, sales, marketing, and investor relations capacities with Fortune 1000 corporations, including Eli Lilly and Company, Gentiva Health Services, and McKesson. Prior to entering the private sector, Michael served in senior capacities in American public policy and federal government, serving as a White House speechwriter to President George H. W. Bush, a senior aide to both New Jersey Governor Thomas Kean (R-NJ) and U.S. Senator Olympia Snowe (R-ME), and as a foreign policy analyst at The Heritage Foundation, one of the world’s leading public policy research institutes.
In 2009, Michael was a co-founder of the U.S. Tea Party movement, which subsequently grew into the largest grassroots political movement in American history and has since been credited as a transformational political force both in Washington, D.C. and around the nation. Since its founding, Michael has been one of the movement’s most prominent national leaders and spokespersons.
Michael appears regularly as an industry and public policy expert on Fox News, Fox Business News, CNBC, BBC, France 24, the China Global Television Network, and other global broadcast networks. He has written on global economic and public policy issues for The Wall Street Journal, The Christian Science Monitor, and many other leading publications.
Michael holds a Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Miami, where he majored in economics and graduated with honors.
